✈️ PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE
Check your passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates (valid through February 2027).
Apply for your Vietnam eVisa: U.S. citizens must apply for an eVisa before traveling to Vietnam. This can be done online in under 15 minutes. (Instructions will be provided after booking.)
Non-U.S. Passport Holders: Check if you require a visa for Vietnam and apply in advance.
Check vaccination requirements: Make sure you are up to date on routine vaccines and consider vaccines for Typhoid and Hepatitis A.
Notify your bank: Let your bank and credit card companies know you will be traveling to Vietnam to avoid declined transactions.

Book your roundtrip flight to: Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) in Hanoi, Vietnam
Arrival Window: Plan to arrive between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM (local time) on August 10, 2026.
Departure Window: Plan to depart any time on August 16, 2026 (airport transfers will be coordinated).
Book as early as possible to get the best rates. Roundtrip flights to Vietnam from the U.S. average $900–$1,500 depending on your city and booking window.
🏨 GENERAL INFO
Room type: All accommodations are double occupancy with 2 beds (unless you select a single room upgrade).
If you don’t have a roommate, one will be assigned to you.
All tours, transfers, and group meals are done as a group. If you opt out of any activity or group meal, you are responsible for your own transportation and expenses at that time.
Vietnam’s culture and service style are different from the U.S. — keep an open mind, stay flexible, and embrace the beauty of the experience.

We will enjoy a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine including noodles, rice dishes, grilled meats, herbs, and fresh tropical fruits.
Group meals include a welcome dinner, daily breakfasts, Ha Long Bay cruise meals, and a farewell dinner.
Meals not listed are at your own leisure — explore and enjoy local cafés, night markets, and street vendors.
Vegetarian options are available at most restaurants.
Alcoholic beverages are not included. You may purchase your own drinks at meals or on the cruise.
🧍🏽♀️ PHYSICAL ACTIVITY WARNING
This is an active experience involving daily walking, stairs, boat boarding, cycling, and exploring busy cities and uneven terrain.
If you have mobility issues or are not comfortable walking for extended periods, this trip may not be the best fit.
You will also be sleeping on a cruise ship for 2 nights. Motion sickness bands or medication are recommended if you’re sensitive to movement.
💶 MONEY / CURRENCY
Vietnam’s official currency is the Vietnamese Dong (VND)
Many restaurants and shops only accept cash — it is highly recommended to bring USD and exchange it to VND upon arrival.
You can also use local ATMs (notify your bank in advance).
Credit cards are accepted at hotels and larger establishments, but small vendors, taxis, and markets are cash only.
Tipping is appreciated for service staff, guides, and drivers. Plan to bring $75 USD in cash to cover gratuities (will be collected on Day 1).
